Little Flower Festival

General Information

Date

The Festival is August 7th (6-12pm), 8th (6-12pm), and 9th (5-11pm). There will be a special luncheon on Sunday from 12-5 with exclusive Bingo, Bid N’ Buy and Split the Pot for those who attend.

Festibucks

At the entrances, patrons will be charged a $5.00 admission fee, which will be immediately refunded in the form of Festibucks. Festibucks are poker chips, which may be used for any purchase of food, drink, or games on the grounds. Festibucks are not refundable at the end of the festival so be sure to use them during your stay. Children under the age of 10 when accompanied by an adult will be admitted for free.

If you would like to volunteer during the weekend to help at the entrance gates please contact Tom Ricke 541-9159.

Directions

St. Therese of the Little Flower is easy to find. It is at the corner of Colerain Avenue and Kirby Road in the shadow of the Mt. Airy Water Tower (5560 Kirby Road). There will be ample parking on the Festival grounds. However, unlike in past years, there will NOT be a shuttle running from satellite parking areas.

From the North: Take Ronald Reagan Highway to the Colerain Avenue Exit. Go south on Colerain Avenue until you see the signs for the festival (a little over 2 miles)

From the South: Take I-75 North to I-74 West. From there, take the Colerain Avenue exit. Turn left off of the exit and bear to the right as you go through the Colerain Avenue/West Fork intersection and up the Colerain Avenue hill. Stay on Colerain Avenue until you see the signs for the Festival (again a little over 2 miles)

Security

All patrons of the Little Flower festival will pass through two entrance areas before entering the festival grounds. These entrances were implemented in 2006 to ensure controlled and secured access for all attendees and workers of the festival. We had an extremely positive response last year and we will be improving on them again this year.

Uniformed Cincinnati Police officers and volunteer Explorers will patrol the grounds. The Citizens on Patrol will once again be walking the streets of downtown Mt. Airy. Any individual wanting an escort to their car may see anyone at the entrance gates for assistance.
