Small Parish with a Big Heart

St. Vincent de Paul Society

St. Vincent de Paul Society is a group of parishioners who show Christ’s concern for the needy of our parish territory by distributing food and other items throughout the year. Meetings are held on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. in the rectory basement and are open to all parishioners.

The Food Pantry is located in the basement of the rectory and can be accessed via the garage doors on Little Flower Ave. It is open on Tuesdays, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m. and serves residents who live in the Little Flower Parish boundaries. (Click the link for a summary of the parish boundaries: Parish Boundaries.pdf ) A photo ID and current proof of address and Social Security cards for children under 18 are required. The services provided by the Food Pantry are: food, personal hygiene products, household cleaners, diapers when available and clothing vouchers for the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift shops. For additional help with rent or utilities, call the Hamilton County Community Action Agency at 569-1840 or the United Appeal 24 hour hotline at 211.

Christmas Sharing Wreaths - As part of the service provided to our community by the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Christmas wreaths are placed near the church doors during the first week of the Advent season. Each wreath contains gift tags indicating various needs. Parishioners select tags and provide the needed gifts of clothing, toys, or food.
